Have just finished Old Baggage by Lissa Evans and thoroughly enjoyed the read. Only picked it up after seeing it recommended on the 26 and 50 book threads here (I’m a lurker).

Which others by Evans do you recommend?
Thank you

Following on from
Old Baggage is Crooked Heart then V for Victory. They are a trilogy.

@SummerOrAutumn thank you that has made my day. Hadn’t realised it was part of a trilogy. I feel like my vocabulary is improving too as I’m enjoying the regular checking of words in a dictionary.

They are all wonderful, but I agree with Summer about Crooked Heart and V for Victory - they form a very satisfying trilogy, though she actually wrote Crooked Heart first.

I also love Their Finest Hour and a Half, which is one of her early books, and very funny. It was made into a film with Bill Nighy and Gemma Arterton.

I've not read any of these but they sound good. Which order would you recommend please?

Chronologically, they go: Old Baggage, Crooked Heart, V for Victory. That's probably the best order to read them in, though she wrote Crooked Heart first, then Old Baggage as a prequel, then V for Victory last.
