Books to get me through a separation

I’m looking for books to get me through. Not self help guff but actual stories of women who’ve survived this shit and done better for it.
I’ve just read Get Divorced, Be Happy which was great, anything like that or even fiction where lives get rebuilt would be good. Stories of strong, single women, amazing single parents, that sort of thing.

I’m listening via audiobooks as I have no concentration and I need lots of them.

Can’t think of any book but hoping you’re okay.

Not sure if it's on audio, but I just read Someone At A Distance by Dorothy Whipple which is about a marriage breaking up in middle age and much more sympathetic to the wife. Well written but easy to read, definitely middle brow.

How about going a completely different route? It's an unfortunate part of life, but you know you'll get through it. Think about reading about people coping with true disasters - like being in war zones. It helps us put our problems in perspective.

I would HIGHLY recommend Rosie Green- How to heal a broken heart
It got me through the worst year of my life - separation, several bereavements etc

Eat, Pray, Love. I'm sure you've read the book or seen the film, but basic premise is an American after a divorce quits her job and travels to Italy for the food, India for spirituality and Indonesia. A feel good read and inspirational too especially if you love travel.

Lord of the rings.

The books are so long you won't have time to think about the pain your going through

And

Quite possible by the time you've finished your likely to of found someone else and married them by then
