Hello, any recommendations for some good Halloween reads?

Either stories set on the night of Halloween or general creepy reads with a good build up of suspense that leave you terrified in bed worrying that you've locked the doors at night...

Look up the 314 books online - or download if you have a kindle. Really unnerving, and I'm hard as nails when it comes to books. Or The Silent Companions and The Corset by Laura Purcell. Creepy gothic horror.

Thanks for the link @tripfiction I definitely like the look of the Ray Bradbury one, think I might order that now!

Try Dark Tides by Chris Ewan, that’s set during Hop-tu-naa which is the Manx Hallowe’en.

Not read it yet but judging a book by its cover, I have high hopes for Nothing but Blackened Teeth.

The Loney and StarveAcre are great (same author). I’ve just finished The Apparition Phase which I enjoyed. Sarah Waters’ The Little Stranger is good too.

Dark Matter by Michelle Paver - definitely a creepy building scary story. I loved it, very atmospheric and you really feel the cold icy setting.

Works very well as an audiobook too if you're a fan of audios.
