Books like dick francis

My Dad has just retired and read all dick francis/felix francis need ideas about new authors or books please.

Have found lyndon stacey and Richard pitman so far. Thanks

American but try the Sue Grafton Alphabet series .. A is for Alibi etc . Similar to Dick Francis in term of length , plots etc although the main character is a professional investigator, rather than an amateur.

Sam Llewellyn has some excellent novels. He is similar to Dick Francis but with yacht racing instead of horse racing.

John Francome - I’ve only read a few of them but they were very similar to Dick Francis
