Michael Morpurgo - recommended?

The Book People have 12 of his books for £12.99. I'm tempted for 10 year old nephew but don't know anything about him.

Is he good? BTW - nephew into Harry Potter and attempting Tolkien.

I think hes great. Am reading his biog at the min. He is a fantastic author and def a good choice for a boy.
