I've been trying to remember the title of a book that I read some years ago and it's really bugging me. Googling turns up nought. The bit of the plot that I remember is that the main character is a young woman with celebrity status. She falls off a table whilst drunk and loses an eye as she fell onto some broken glass. The book then follows her life as she comes to term with things. A bit that stuck out was that she kept driving even though she was told not to.
That's all I can remember, apart from that the author is a woman. Not much to go on! Any ideas?
