I read a lot of psychological thrillers and am disappointed so often. But I really enjoyed The Plot, by Jean Hanff Korelitz, who also wrote the book on which The Undoing was based. It is very literary; a cross between The Secret History and Gone Girl. I did see the twist coming a mile away though.
