Going on our staycation next week and realised I haven't packed a book! What are we all reading at the moment?
I enjoy a wide variety of books, recent years I've read the girl on the train, a lot of Sophie Kinsella books and Laura Clery's autobiography and enjoyed them all (this is all I can remember off the top of my head!)

I'm taking A Day at the Beach Hut with me.

Best book I've read recently is Small Pleasures by Clare Chambers. Didn't want it to stop. If you want a page-turner try Belinda Bauer Rubber-Necker.

Girl with the Louding Voice - how it’s written takes a bit if getting used to but worth persevering

The Rose Code - set at Bletchley park

Quite by Claudia Winkleman
Becoming by Michelle Obama

The only plane in the sky - the oral history of 9/11. Obviously a non-fiction but It's absolutely brilliant but also completely heartbreaking. I couldn't put it down and I'm telling everyone to read it!

Agree with The only Plane in the Sky - it was riveting.

Exit by Belinda Bauer was also excellent (off to download Rubbernecker now)

Liar's Girl and The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard were good.

Recently read The Plot by Jean Krantz Korowitz and enjoyed it.

Flowers for Algernon is my favourite book of all time (and a tear jerker). At the minute I’m reading Dead Simple, which is a story about a groom-to-be who’s stag do goes sour after a prank gone wrong. Deffo recommend those 😊

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins was excellent.

Secrets of Strangers by Charity Norman - I listened on Audible and now am reading it in hard copy. It's a really good story line.

The Vanishing Half by Britt Bennett. Well-written and gripping.
