Books for mums and Grans ...

Last year I was too late to order them for Christmas but I remember seeing (on MN) a reccomendation for a book with short stories for mothers, grandmothers etc. Can't remember what the book was called, can anyone remember?

Have a look at this publisher, they do fiction with older heroines. Esp recommend Scuba Dancing by Nicola Slade as an Xmas pressie (not just because she's my mum LOL, it's very funny and sweet.)

The summer book by Tove Jansson - the lady who wrote the moomin stories (and the winter book is very good too!)...they are slightly odd in a very lovely sort of way
