I've just discovered that Playing with the Moon has made it on to the World Book Day 'Hidden Gems' long (very long) list of one hundred titles. www.worldbookday.com/spreadtheword/

Even if it never gets past number 99 it's made my day!

Kerri--who's to say that your imagination isn't as worthwhile as anyone else's?

You mean your book was one of the ones on that list in the Guardian a few weeks ago?

Bridie3 · 14/12/2007 16:10

And you need people who've enjoyed it to vote for it?

Eliza2 · 14/12/2007 16:11

Well, if anyone DID read and enjoy it, that would be fantastic, Bridie2! The link above gets you to a page where you click on See the book. Then you click on length and enter 250-300 pages, then on where it's set: UK. Then Playing with the Moon should come up. I'm up against some big title so literally every vote counts.

If anyone has read the book and didn't find it entirely vomit-inducing and wants to vote for PLAYING WITH THE MOON, here's the link for the World Book Day (it's about four titles down, so you'll need to scroll down the page). You have to register, then click on Vote for this book. Thank you to those who've already done this--I appreciate it sooooooo much.

Some of you were kind enough to vote for Playing with the Moon and I wanted to tell you that I made it to the shortlist of ten!

I'm very excited.

If anyone would like to vote in the second round, here's the link for PWTM. The winning book will be announced on/around World Book Day.

And thank you.
