Short stories?

I've been really enjoying the 'Quick Reads' books from The Reading Agency lately, but am wondering if there's any more fictional books that are short and sweet? With work and everything else in life I never get through long books as I lose interest and forget the story line entirely, so short stories are much better for me!

I've not read this one yet but it's on my list "A Day at the Beach Hut" by Veronica Henry. I started reading the Beach Hut series after reading her Quick Book and love them.

Bookshots is a series of unrelated short stories by James Patterson. Many are co-authored so across a few genres.

I've started reading Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks, the actor. It's a series of short stories, not overwhelmed as yet, but they are a nice length to read at bed time.
