Sorry I don’t have much to go on.
But I was listening to the radio a few months ago and they were talking about a book I’d like to read but I only caught a bit of the conversation.
So it starts with the police getting two phone calls within minutes of each other both proclaiming the other just committed a murder. The callers may have been siblings?

Is it 55 by James Delargy? That’s got a very similar plot line to what you’ve described although they turned up in person at the police station rather than phoned, and they’re not siblings.

Or Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh? That’s sisters accusing each other.

I have just watched Between the covers on I-Player and this is one of the books that is discussed. I thought it sounded good.
