Can anyone recommend a good collection of short stories? Ones that have a twist in them if possible. Thanks!

You've probably already read Roald Dahl's short stories, especially if you like a twist.

I particularly liked Binocular Vision by Edith Pearlman, though have areas of the blurb first to see if you fancy it.

Jenny Eclair. Listening In.
Short stories about women at a pivotal point in their lives.
I don’t normally read short stories but these were good, and all about the right length for a ten minute bedtime read.

I might try those too Three, I've read a couple of her novels and enjoyed them.

I was also going to add that Kate Atkinson has a collection of short stories. I've only discovered them yesterday but have addend them to my pile of "want to read' books Smile

Angela Carter - the bloody chamber
Deborah Moggach - changing babies

You know that O.Henry's short stories are famous for their twists, right?

Or maybe Roald Dahl?
