What's the name of the website where you can input vague memories of a book you once read, and it tells you what it was called?

I've just remembered - the site is part of abe books. They have a book sleuth section.
Does that sound like it? I've found out loads of stuff from other people there.

For a moment there I thought we needed to set up a website for people who can't remember the name of a website they've seen somewhere...

Kathy - no it wasn't him but thanks for the suggestion. It was translated into English by the way - my French doesn't stretch as far as reading surreal novels!

Could be, Kathy - a good excuse for a trip to the bookshop, anyway.

Frisbyrat - no, not Ride a Wild Pony. Thanks though.

No way surfermum! I love that! I feel like I read it when I was about ten or something - it's amazing how some things stay with you for so long(in my case over 20 years). I'll be getting a copy of it, how about you?

Surfermum · 30/11/2007 09:38

Yes I will - I was planning on looking next time we're at the library.

Whenever we go and dd is browsing I always pick up one of the Enid Blyton's that I used love and start reading it.

marthaboo, it could be Enid Blyton's Six Cousins ( at Miseltoe farm) series, set on a farm, that's where the chicken coop wuld fit in.
