Ready Player One/Two

I read Ready Player One some years ago and absolutely loved it, even though it is not my usual taste.

I'm just making a start on RP2 and enjoying it so far but the Goodread reviews aren't great.

Has anyone given it a shot?

I hated the movie so much that I couldn't bring myself to read a book on it.

Yes, loved Ready Player One but didn’t connect with Two in the same way, possibly because I know nothing of Prince and haven’t seen Pretty in Pink.

It also seems like the author got slated for hyping ‘problematic 80s content’ so the characters this time spend unnecessary pages bemoaning the lack of diversity in Lord of the Rings etc.

Prince plus pretty in pink has actually made me want to read it. I was rather doubtful after the awfulness of Armada.

So guys I've had to abandon it and returned it to the library
I just found it very tedious and not at all like the first one, a shame be ause i loved that one!
