I had already read In Flight Entertainment and Cockfosters. Just picked up Hey Yeah Right Get a Life. I needed that book 12 years ago! Such great observations re family life and the sheer mind blowing exhaustion of parenting babies and small children.

I agree with you, whatabout. I read Hey Yeah Get a Life before having a child and I consider it excellent preparation.

I really like her stories too. I don't seem to own or have read Cockfosters, though it's on my huge wishlist, but do have Four Bare Legs in a Bed, Dear George and Constiutional, plus A Bunch of Fives which is a selected stories.

I’ll look those ones up elkiedee. Cant wait for bookshops to reopen!
