Have you read this book? If so I'm interested to know how you pronounce the girl's name Kya, whether you said it aloud or in your head (I'm asking because my daughter's called this)

Yes Kya to rhyme with higher, it confuses me how there's a brand of car called Kia (Keeya), and people still pronunce Kya wrong that way

The Ky rhymed with sky for me when I read it.

I read this book a few weeks ago and I still can't get Kya out of my head. It was honestly the best book I have read in years. In fact, probably the best book I've ready in my life.

Kya to rhyme with higher for sure. One of my dc went to school with a Kia that was pronounced like the car - I think they are different names!

Also Kya like higher here.

I did enjoy this book but was a little disappointed. I expected something amazing based on so many people loving it so much but I feel like perhaps I missed something because for me it just wasn't a page turner, I plodded through it and it was.... fine.

To those who loved it, what was it you loved so much?

I haven't read it so will have to give it a go, my MIL gifted it to me on Amazon because of the girls name and because she enjoyed it. It's TBR after the book I'm currently on.
