Has anyone read this?

I finished it in a day, but I found the ending a bit strange. Was Lexi a liar the whole time, and the 'friends' didn't actually pull out of the syndicate?

She didn't feel one couple dwarves it because he turned out to be the dodgy landlord.

She didn't feel the other couple deserved it because she was fucking her husband. So she kept it all to herself

I finished it too and I wasn't that impressed tbh. I actually got it last year free from netgalley and was going to buy the book from my supermarket and was looking through my kindle and realised I have already read it. Normally I remember books but there was nothing about it that made it standout. I was quite disappointed unfortunately.

I had it as part of a Christmas present. Thought it was rubbish. When I saw how many other books she had been turning out I thought well good for her she has made money and obviously given some people’s pleasure. However I couldn’t even think she was a good yarn spinner as the story was ridiculous. Forgive me as you probably enjoyed it but I had to get it off my chest.

I got it as it's a conversation we often have (how we'd spend a lottery win) and I was interesting in seeing what happened - made me happier to not be a winner!
