I think the latest ones might be fictitious but I still like reading them. Anyone else?

I love her books

There’s a similar author I liked called Tory Hayden, she writes all about her work as a teacher to children with special needs, I found them not too heavy on the misery side but also very honest.

She is a superb writer, as in literary skill as well as the stories. I wish she’d write more!

Yes I thought she was really good. I forget the book I liked but it had a little girl who she became really close to and you’re right, it was so well written that it didn’t fit in with the less good ‘misery-lot’ type books.

I read both these authors as I'm very interested in child development and behaviours. Torey is the better writer/more in depth for sure.

Cathy Glass's books tell the whole story of the child in question but a lot of very minor, repetitive detail and I get frustrated with the way the authorities deal with cases and issues which arise, which she describes in very diplomatic way!

Both very admirable and dedicated people.

I love reading Cathy Glass books as I work in a similar area to what she does. However, does anyone else think she uses the word “presently” too much?

Oh God those misery books! There is a whole shelf of them in Smiths!

Always makes me think of Stacie's Mum Gwen (Gavin & Stacie) who read "No Mummy don't" then went on to read "No Daddy Don't" or something like that!
