Book recommendations for 13yo boy please

I’m looking for book recommendations for my nephew who is about to turn 13. He loves Star Wars and has enjoyed reading Harry Potter.

Charlie Higson has written a good series of young adult books called The Enemy Series about teenagers surviving in London after a zombie type apocalypse. That might be worth a try.

Rick Riordan is pretty popular with his age group. I like Catharine Jink’s Evil Genius series. John Flanagan’s Ranger’s Apprentice books are perennially popular. Darren Shan’s vampire books are worth a look.

These are fantastic. Really really good.

He might also like the Timeriders series by Alex Scarrow - time travelling teenagers in various time periods, saving the world. Although the world does end in a deadly pandemic, so maybe not...
