Did anyone watch Between the Covers (BBC2)

Just that really.
New book programme, Between the Covers started last Friday (not seen tonight's yet)
Celebrities talking about their favourite books and there is a book list for the series.
I liked the way they put up the title and author of any book they are discussing.
I enjoyed the tone of it, not dumbed down with Z-list celebs, but not very high brow- they were talking about books I would actually read.
Bit short at only half an hour - felt a bit rushed, but I really enjoyed it.

Did anyone else see it?

Yes, I've watched them both and so far enjoying it. I've recorded it to be able to remember the titles for when my already pile ( tbr) goes down .

I saw this evening's episode and really enjoyed it. Plus my DSs (17 & 18) watched it with me and sort of enjoyed it too which was a surprise since I can't convince the younger one to even pick up a book.

Good mix of guests and books.

I'm saving tonight's episode as a treat once I've cleaned the house tomorrow

Watch both episodes. Lots of fun. Made me want to read love after Love and reread Tales of the City.

I seen the first episode it missed Friday nights. Must set it to record. I ended up getting Patrick Hamilton's Hangover Square and am loving it. Looking forward to getting more good read ideas from this. Great it's on at a decent time too usually shows like this are on either really late or in the middle of the day

I've watched both episodes and really enjoyed them so will definitely watch the whole series. It does seem a bit rushed for 30 minutes, maybe 45 minutes would have been better. Great guests so far that genuinely enjoy reading.
I also like how the guests bring their favourite book along and it doesn't matter if it's one from childhood!
