Has anyone else read this?
I have just ugly cried through most of it then turned it straight back to the beginning and started again. I think it might just be me though, the way she portrays the relationship between the protagonist and the little girl.
Also very beautifully written with a good story (seems a stretch to get both these days).
Just absolutely blindsided me (I have kids about the same age who are just going back to school and so maybe am particularly vulnerable).
