I'm mid 30s but started the A court of thorn and roses series the other day and I'm loving it! I thought my fantasy fiction days were behind me but I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Anyone else read the series?

I've read them all, I prefer the other series though with Celaena

I'd also recommend Rachel Caine the Great library as well

Yes, I am finding I am comfort reading YA fiction a lot these days. Currently reading Cassandra Clare Infernal Devices series and have just read Holly Webb's The Cruel Prince. Can't bear to read anything too realistic or depressing at the moment.

I really enjoyed this series. I did find the overuse of some phrases grating though. particularly barking muscles/laughs and crooning!

I'm on Book 2 and I've read that it's better than the first so I'll report back once I'm done! The first one was nice and yes definitely a nice escape from reality.

I really liked both these and the Throne of Glass series. Although the sex started to get on my nerves a bit as it was so badly written! I've not read her actual adult one yet as a review suggested it was much the same, but with more explicit badly written sex.

YA is great for a comfort read!

Imagine having the audio books on! I can't listen to ACOTAR
