I absolutely adore the descriptions of family life in India in Maggie O'Farrell's The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox.

I'd love to read more fiction set in India about British families. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Different location but your post made me think of The Help; loved that (excuse the random post!)
