Hello I used to love reading books as a child . Sadly as I became an adult I never had the time but I would like to start reading again now I've got a bit of free time .

I enjoy things relating to mystery , true crime and ghosts.

Can anyone recommend some good reads to me ?

Thanks

Woman at the window.. AJ Finn
Major twist.. Brilliant.

I’ve enjoyed Alexia Gordon’s mystery series featuring an American musician in Ireland. There is a ghost, in fact several.

I’ve just read Barbara O’Neal’s The Art of Inheriting Secrets. As I described it to a friend. A woman unexpectedly inherits vast acres, takes a young lover, thwarts a dastardly ex-boyfriend, discovers her purpose in life, solves a mystery, eats wonderful food and adopts a cat. It’s the perfect wish-fulfilment novel, beautifully written, but with enough sadness to give it emotional heft. I binge-read several of O’Neal’s books after that one.
