... can anyone recommend some summer reading of this ilk please? I’ve read all of their books and like the family epic style. Looking for something non-challenging but gripping to take to the beach this summer.
Thanks.

I’m currently reading a Lucinda Riley and I’ve enjoyed Kate Morton. Have you tried Kate Furnivall? Or Jenny Ashcroft, Katherine Webb or Judith Lennox? I’ve enjoyed books by all of them too.

Do you know of the Fantastic Fiction website? It's really useful as it lists all of an author's work and the author themself will recommend other books usually not dissimilar to their own.

Belinda Alexander and Monica McInerney might be worth a try.

Rachel Hore is very similar to Kate Morton, I think.
Louise Douglas might be worth a try too.

Brilliant! Lots of writers to investigate here and I’ll try that website too, @Winniewonka - thank you.

Another vote for Rachel Hore. Also try Katherine Webb, Kate Riordan and Eve Chase.

Rachel Hore as mentioned above and also Lulu Taylor. I enjoy those authors as well as Kate Morton and Lucinda Riley.

Eve Chase, and Harriet Evans ( her later novels) are great reads.
