Hi
I'm looking for some book recommendations please. I love travel fiction and authors like Emily Barr as a bit of an escape.

Thank you!

There are 5 on this link www.tripfiction.com/five-great-books-set-on-exotic-vacations-where-things-really-do-not-go-well/

Otherwise, off the top of my head, Jane Harper for Australia, Sisters of Berlin by Juliet Conlin (for Berlin), Snegurochka by Judith Heneghan - Kiev - (shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards, fiction with a sense of place - and the winner was Little Faith by Nickolas Butler, set in Wisconsin) ...hopefully there are a few suggestions there to keep you going. And yes, I like #triplit too!

Years ago I read The Magus by John Fowles, set on a Greek island. The island is fictional but Fowles apparently spent some time on a Greek island which must have been his inspiration. An intriguing story as well as evocative of Greece.
