I'm looking for some recommendations of good psychological thrillers that people have enjoyed. I have loved books like 'Gone Girl' from Gillian Flynn

Ohhhh following this post!

Any by Louise Candlish - 'Our House' is particularly good.

Am currently reading What Lies Between Us by John Marrs (£1 for Kindle at present.)
I have read all of his previous books and liked all, loved some.

This one is promising so far.

I've just finished The Closer you Get by Mary Torjussen. Couldn't put it down! I love it when a book gets you like that.

BitOfFun · 26/05/2020 21:53

Agreed- the Mary Turjussen is an excellent read.

HoldMyWeave · 26/05/2020 21:57

The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena

HollowTalk · 26/05/2020 23:48

I prefer the later Shari Lapena books - if you like Agatha Christie books you'll like her "An Unwanted Guest." I like "Someone We Know" best - that is really good.

Just really enjoyed Tammy Cohen, When She Was Bad.

Anything by Ruth Ware.

FurloughedFedUp · 27/05/2020 00:18

I would add any of the Rachel Abbot DI Tom Douglas books. Really well written, the twists aren't always obvious and plenty in the series to keep you going!

barbites · 27/05/2020 23:30

The Girlfriend Michele Francis
Behind closed Doors B A Paris
Don't Wake Up Liz Lawler
I let you go Clare Mackintosh
Last seen Lucy Clarke

Palladin · 27/05/2020 23:35

Black Widow by Chris Brookmyre

EauDeChlorine · 13/06/2020 18:46

Tideline by Penny Hancock.

Greenphonegirl · 13/06/2020 18:49

My fave is behind closed doors by B.A Paris

Definitely following this for further suggestions

barbites · 13/06/2020 19:12

@Greenphonegirl I read it in about 2 days! Ridiculously unbelievably but creepy all the same. Maybe it isn't unbelievable and I'm just naive! You'd like Don't Wake Up if you liked BCD 😊

Flavabobble · 28/06/2020 20:49

If you like Gone Girl I'd recommend The Last Mrs Parrish - Lynne Constantine

looselegs · 28/06/2020 23:12

Into the darkest corner by Elizabeth Haynes.
Could not put it down!

Clawdy · 30/06/2020 14:19

Lucy Foley has written two great reads - both very reasonable on Kindle : The Hunting Party. The Guest List.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 30/06/2020 14:37

Another vote for Mary Torjussen, especially her new one.

Igotmylipstickon · 30/06/2020 14:44

Rewind - Catherine Ryan Howard

Boredsilly · 02/07/2020 11:23

Anything by SK Tremayne I find his books are unputdownable!

FiveShelties · 02/07/2020 11:39

Why do I read these threads? Another 20+ titles for the wish list, I just need to live until I am 214 and I may get through them all. Grin
