Hi all.

Don't know if you're aware of it but quite a few libraries have rolled out their online capacity and you can borrow ebooks.

Worth a look if you're running out of things to read.

Yes have borrowed a couple of books through the borrow box app.
Weirdly I thought at first you could borrow magazines but can't see that anymore.

@Xylophonics Our library enables you to read magazines through the RBdigital app. Might be worth looking to see if yours does the same

My library uses borrow box and I can't find magazines either.

What do you think of borrow box? I don't like the page turn. Probably too used to the kindle app slide.

Yes! I've read 4 ebooks with my library membership so far in lockdown (I'm a slow reader, this is unprecedented!)

I also discovered I could join the library in the neighbouring county (and join online) and they have a slightly different catalogue and access to press reader.

I really love the library!

Magazines are via PressReader in one county and RB digital in the other here.

Ok so maybe I was seeing the mags on the library website and the are readable via a different app.
Happy with borrow box. Can read the book on the phone and the ipad

Rbdigital here. It's OK but the functionality and settings are very basic compared to a kindle.
