just finished my first MacBride book, Cold Granite and loved it. Can anyone recommend me any of his other books please?

I'm aware there are two other books in the series and will be reading them too.

12 books in the 12 Days of Winter series

Never read one I didn't like.

I am a huge fan of the Bob Skinner series by Quintin Jardine
The Lewis series by Peter May
Rebus series by Ian Rankin
Shetland series by Ann Cleeves
DCI Daley series by Denzil Meyrick
Rhona Macleod series by Lin Anderson

I tend to avoid Val McDermid because of her writing style but somebody likes her books.
