Schoollink Lucky Dip books any good?

Hi there,
just came across the Lucky Dip on the Schoollink website. Has anyone tried this? Did you get good books and which ones?

Apparently you save more than £100 and it sounds very tempting, but it doesn't help if they're not nice books.

Many thanks for your help.

I went for it. i got a boys 7-9 bundle, of which i think he might like 2, the rest might do for party bags. The under 5's had about 4 good ones. The adult one was not very inspiring - i wouldn't bother with that one. The others - hmm - depends how picky your readers are. It was exciting to get the big box but i felt a bit deflated after opening it.

I wouldn't bother - I would check out book people and redhouse and schoollink for collections with named books - often you can get 4 for £5 or 10 for £10, and know what you are getting.

thank you, I won't bother.
