I was given some books recently by new authors to me-Santa Montefiore-I'm not sure I've got the heart to read them as they all seem to be set in Italy and my heart is already breaking for that country. I have just finished one by Jane Wenham Jones called Perfect Alibis. I'm not into chick lit and thought this might be and maybe it is a little bit but I found it entertaining and I liked in theory the idea of an agency that provides alibis for unfaithful women, we never know what goes on in a relationship do we? I think what might resonate with a lot of women is the bored/down trodden housewife who longs to break free and sees a possibility in an old love returning to the scene. Not sure if I'd want mine turning up out of the blue! Anyone read it?
