I love Jonathan Coe. No one ever mentions the House Of Sleep, which I think is his best by a fair way. Not as showy as What a Carve Up but more emotional depth.

Like you Pruners, I'm too tight and will wait for the paperback.

I also loved House of Sleep. One of the best of the dystopic books I have read.
