OK then, decided against Human Traces for time being- am now intruiged as to how good a novel 'Atonement' is???

The Sebastian Faulks book looks as if it could fry my brain.

After seeing movie reviews for 'Atonement'- I quite fancy watching it but think it would be a good idea to read the book first.

It was so good I don't want to see the film in case it ruins my memory of the book...

Funnily enough, I'm reading Human Traces at the moment. And enjoying it although it is sad.

It's fab. All this talk of the film has reminded me how good the book is and I'm going to read it again.

I thought Atonement was fantastic, IIRC the first few pages were a bit of a slog but well worth it.

yes, really enjoyed it - can't stand the thought of Keira Knightley gurning her way through the film.

have brought the book- just waiting for the kids to go back to school before I start it.
