I read this last week and really enjoyed it. It's about a family who's mother disappeared and is presumed dead, but turns up 11 years later out of the blue. An easy read and kept me interested the whole way through. And cheap as chips on Kindle right now!

I read that a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was ok, I wanted to know a bit more about the Mum though, I felt sorry for her.

Yes, her character was a bit one-dimensional. I liked the suspense in the story though. Another book in a similar vein but (in my opinion) much better is The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. Lots of factual detail about LDS and the female character is really well portrayed.

It just seemed odd that she never seemed to accept being where she was, but then went straight back and it ended.
Trying not to spoil!
Saying that it was entertaining enough for a cheapy kindle book, I read a lot of them interspersed with better books that stay with me.
