Am reading 'the girls' by Lori Lansens, and really enjoying it.

Its a wonderful book and I am rather narked that I have nearly finished it. It is about co-joined twins, but not cliched, or smarmy. Its really well written. Has anyone else heard of it.

i have, it is inspired by real life conjoined twins Reba and Lori Schappell.

There have been several documentaries about them.

I read it a while ago ,read it in one sitting because I was hooked! I cried a lot though

i loved this book as well - you can imagine them as real people - as if they were writing their autobiographies. v sad though

I loved it too. So dignified but very sad. Am currently reading the Knitting Club, altogether a different kettle of fish, but intriguing and very readable all the same..

I found it a very moving book-I hadn't really wanted to start it but it wasn't at all what I expected.

I loved this book.It is based near where I grew up .

I'd like to see a docu on them.

It's fab, very moving.

I couldn't put it down. My DH kept asking what's happening every time I went 'Oh!!' and 'No!!' etc.

Just loved it!!

I have this on my to be read pile - sounds like its worth bumping up the pile !
