My friend who is a Harry Potter fan just told me last nite that she wanted to know what happened. I thought "You just spoiled it reading by doing that!!"

I have a friend who was so scared of doing this that she had her dh sellotape the last chapter to the back cover! I myself have perfect self control and just read the book in one day while completely ignoring my family!

I did..haven't actually read the rest yet and got mightily confused when there was an item on the news a couple of days ago that said that William Hill had to pay out thousands of pounds to people who had bet on 3 different fate's for Harry since the ending of the book was so ambigous. Am all intigued again now and will hopefully get around to reading it soon!

what, read the last page first? I'm actually not that bothered about Harry..I have all the books now and at some point I will find the time to read the last two. Hopefully, my two lo's will get into it at some point too. But tbh, I have so many other books to read (including dh's who's a fantasy author)...HP just doesn't rank that high!

my sil read hers within 3 hours!!! (she got no kids btw but got a full time job)

I did less than 3 hours!Kids were at their Dads and my bf was cooking tea!

I read the last page first, but not the whole last chapter. I just wanted to know if the rumours that Harry would die were true. I needed to know the answer to that so that I could be in the right frame of mind for reading the whole book.
