I'm more convinced of Ron's attraction to Hermione than the other way round - we all know that men look for women like their mothers!! I think Ron would secretly like to be henpecked, as Arthur probably does

Lupin and Tonks? Far less convincing IMO. At least with Ron and Hermione we've been able to see it coming since GOF at the earliest, whereas Lupin and Tonks came from nowhere at the end of HBP. Mind you, we've never seen much of them together to be honest.

I'm gutted Snape never got jiggy with Professor Sprout, personally.

I think Lupin and Tonks was a weird storyline - it didn't seem to add much to HP & DH. I suppose it gave Harry a chance to vent his anger on yet another of his friends when he found out Lupin had effectively separated from Tonks when she got pg . Hermione and Ron are probably quite well matched - she knows enough magic for the both of them but Ron isn't shy of disagreeing with Hermione - he did for most of the books. Having said that, she'd probably win most arguments in the end.

Snape was too busy thinking about his lost love Lily .

Would've thought he could have whipped up a love potion in no time at all to win her from James .

and i really loved how she just threw them 2 snogging in the middle of a magical war....was wondering when it would happen in the book and was not at all expected when it happened iyswim

And that Delores Umbridge would've been a lot nicer if someone had given her a good seeing to.

Bear in mind the whole thing hinged on Snape having the hots for Harry's mum, then repeatedly saving Harry's life because he had her eyes and Snape was wracked with guilt.

And that Fleur was dead annoying, I thought.

What better time to get together

When they snogged in the middle of the war and Ron said "well, it's now or never", I thought, oh fuck, that's Ron dead!

And about Sprout, I reckon her and Grubbly-Plank were Hogwarts' token gays. All that no-nonsense gells in the dormitory type kind of thing
