Ive not long started this but im not sure i know whats going on. Ive reached the part with Mrs Coulter wanting to take Lyra away with her. Will everything become a bit clearer? Especially in regards to "Dust". Dont want to google as i dont want spoilers

I read this book as I was a teenager and didn't really understand it. But recently I have reread Northern Lights with a big pleasure!
