BBC The Testaments

I have just put this on the original discussion thread for The Testaments, Margaret Attwood when I realised that it would be more useful for people who hadn't read or listened to it yet

It's the BBC 4 Book at bedtime. Exactly the same one which I paid full price last week on Audible.

That'll be a heavily abridged one on BBC. I'm not listening to it - holding out for the full audible version or library copy.

I have just posted this on the other Testaments thread but to repeat:

The Testaments audiobook is thirteen hours long.

The BBC version is three and a half hours long.

The omnibus edition of all of this week's episodes is available on BBC Radio 4 Extra website. Listening to it now. (Hating self for listening before reading but the Kindle edition is too expensive at the moment!)

Obviously it’s not exactly the same!

Looking forward to listening as a recap...will be interesting to see what they prioritise into the adaptation
