Anyone read or reading this? I'm reading it, picked it up based on the positive reviews, but it seems so over rated, am I missing something?!

Read it a few months ago. Not sure why I bothered. Not my usual sort of read. Thought it was poorly written, badly plotted nonsense. Vastly over-hyped.

There are much more deserving novels out there that don't get that kind of hype, or maybe don't even get as far as being published.

I started it, abandoned it because it was tedious. I don’t often give up on books.

Yes, I've given up on it. Baffled as to why it received just glowing reviews?!

I'm intrigued to hear these reviews. I haven't read the book but was following the author and hey sister on Insta. I commented robustly (not aggressively or rudely, I promise!) On one of their posts and they blocked me! First time I've ever been blocked. So secretly quite pleased the book is rubbish. 🤫
