I am trying to remember the title of a book I read a few years ago. It was an old fiction book. I thought it was written by one of the Bronte’s but I’m not so sure now. It was about someone who moved to a town and would visit two old women who lived together, they might have been sisters and they would gossip about other locals. It was written in first person. I think the title was something to do with the name of the town? It’s actually making me frustrated because I can’t remember what it’s called. Please help. For my sanity....
