Yeah, the cover.

JackieNo · 21/07/2007 19:30

More sex, you mean? No - I think it's just a different cover, for those who might be embarrassed to be seen reading a 'children's book'.

whomovedmychocolate · 21/07/2007 19:30

Oh and all the explicit porn in the adult version of course

dh and I wondered about this too Assume it is just the cover too. Our HP arrived in the post this morning and we are still arguing about who is going to read it first!! - although because I am a terrible cheat I sneaked off and have read the last few pages but of course am really none the wiser!!
We had the same discussion over the late night showing of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Having stayed up to watch said late night episode couldn't see any discernable difference - is anyone else any the wiser?

beansprout · 21/07/2007 19:50

It comes with a gram of coke so you sit up all night reading it and then post what time you finished on MN

compo · 21/07/2007 19:50

it's definitely just the cover
there is no x-rated edition

it's all just a marketing ploy to make Bloomsbury even more money

tiredandgrumpy · 21/07/2007 19:56

Well I did notice that the adult version of HP1 was more expensive than the kids, so yes, you get ripped off even more.

Well stranger things have happened
