7/10 for me, but I did have a couple of lucky guesses.

Mercy · 19/07/2007 16:32

Same as you Jackie - especially the lucky guesses!!

Quattrocento · 19/07/2007 16:46

Good quiz

6 out of 10.

hatwoman · 19/07/2007 17:08

I had two unlucky guesses - I knew for sure it wasn;t one of teh options but then plumped for the wrong one of the remaining two.

MadEyemarthamooDy · 19/07/2007 18:05

8/10. See, I knew one day there would be a good reason for reading James Joyce

mazzystar · 19/07/2007 18:06

pollypeachum · 19/07/2007 18:09

8/10 [smug]

lucky guesses played their part though!

beansprout · 19/07/2007 18:09

Ooh, 8 out of 10, get me!!

pollypeachum · 19/07/2007 18:13

It makes up for a pop quiz along exactly the same lines that we got on our first day at university - to check whether we'd read the prescribed reading list or not. I hadn't and scored the lowest score ever. A gamma delta, whatever that is!!!!

Lio · 19/07/2007 18:16

7/10 - v tricky

IdrisTheDragon · 19/07/2007 19:06

4 out of 10

butterbeer · 19/07/2007 19:13

9/10

With a couple of lucky guesses, admittedly. And I haven't actually read many of the books listed at all

RosaLuxembourg · 19/07/2007 22:35

7/10 - scraped into the cleverclogs category by the skin of me teeth.

southeastastra · 19/07/2007 22:35

10/10 (she lied)

mummytosteven · 19/07/2007 22:38

6/10. ah well. don't kniow how I could have forgotten the moo cow line!

expatinscotland · 19/07/2007 22:38

3/10

MadEyeMacdog · 19/07/2007 22:41

3 out of 10, but I've had a bottle of wine and made some lucky guesses

Liska · 19/07/2007 22:47

I am deeply ashamed. Only got my Masters in English Lit a year ago, but I could only manage 6/10. Blame it on sleep deprivation

expatinscotland · 19/07/2007 22:49

I hate Dickens, Austen, Tolstoy and Joyce.

I thought 'Wuthering Heights' was a crock, although Charlotte's 'Jane Eyre' is one of my all-time favs.

Haven't been able to get through a single George Eliot and I find Henry James a boring nonce as well .

southeastastra · 19/07/2007 22:52

i do like those bbc quizzes though
