3 things about Elise

Just finished my 2nd book of the yeah it was 3 things about Elise by Joanna cannon and the end nearly made my cry. I think I should have seen it coming but I really didn’t.

I really enjoyed this book and I didn’t see it coming either. After Eleanor Oliphant I was left in limbo land until I picked Elsie up.

There were heavy hints I picked up throughout the book but it didn’t detract from the impact of the ending. There was another character development that hit me as hard, too. I loved the fragmented narrative, reminiscent of Elizabeth Is Missing.

saucery yes I loved Elizabeth’s missing too. Didn’t think about them being similar till you said

I adored this book and didn't see the end coming at all. Had to eat lots of Battenberg cake during and after!

Couldn't finish Joanna Cannon's first book however.
