Hi mamas! What’s the best book you’ve read as new parent?
I’ve read that “your baby week by week” and “first time parents” are good choices.
Any tips / preferences?

Thank you x

I agree with You Baby Week by Week - amongst my NCT group (6 of us, 7 babies) it was surprisingly accurate!

I agree with @Athousandstars04
Sarah Ockwell Smith is so helpful. Especially the Gentle sleep book with a newborn!

I thought "Babies for beginners" by Roni Jay was excellent. I really was a beginner, I had no experience with family babies or friends babies at all. It covered the basics, was very reassuring, and kept things in perspective. I never found a more advanced book that was any use at all.

I liked The Baby Whisperer

Tracy Hogg, The Baby Whisperer for me too.
