I bought this for my kindle on a whim, having no idea it was a Man Booker winner.
Lovely prose and the story is compelling so far but it has no paragraphs and is such hard going.
Has anyone else read it? Did you enjoy it? ..and, if you had a hard copy did it have paragraphs? If not, is the hard slog metaphorical for the depth of the narrative or is it an error of translation?
