Hello. Am imminently expecting baby number 2 and would love to get back into reading fiction after 3 years of not really managing to read much since my first was born (I have to read a lot of nonfiction for work).

I have my kindle charged and ready to go. So looking for recommendations of page turners that can be easily dipped in and out of and are not going to be too upsetting or emotional for someone who will have enough emotion on my plate with all the newborn hormones!

Congratulations on your PG Amber Thanks

Have you read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine?

I read a ton of Agatha Christie books while pregnant and breastfeeding (and even a bit when I was in labour). Really comforting and predictable. There’s a good deal more racism than I remembered in them though.

Maybe nothing too heavy? What do you normally read (your recent hiatus aside)?
