Anyone read the backpacking housewife bk 1?

I really like the idea of the backpacking housewife traveling and having a great time (need a break myself, lol), but have just read the synopsis which says she leaves after finding her dh and friend in bed. Which is a bit triggering atm (I know, it's pathetic... ). I could skip that bit, but does that theme recur throughout enough to spoil my enjoyment of the book? Thanks in advance!
