Hi all

Just wondering whether anyone had any kindle book recommendations of something “light” that I could read during night feeds?

Ideally something that I can dip in and out of as DS doesn’t always feed for a set amount of time. Don’t particularly have a preference for genre.

Thank you! :)

Something by Fiona Gibson might be a good choice for a light but entertaining read that is easy to enjoy in short bursts. My favourite one of her books is 'Mum on the Run' but you might find some of her other books cheaper on Kindle.

This is Going to Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor by Adam Kay.

Brilliant funny light read.

I’m reading Crazy Rich Asians and it fun and light with a proper story but split into short chapters so would be good for this.

I’ve downloaded those - look forward to trying them :)

The Aisling novels by Sarah Bremen and Emer McLysacht. There are two so far - Oh My God What A Complete Aisling and The Importance Of Being Aisling - with a third in the pipeline I think. The first is being made into a film. They’re Bridget Jones-esque romcoms about modern Irish life. Better quality than a lot of chick lit in my opinion and genuinely heartwarming.

Circe by Madeline Miller, it’s fantastic

Ooh Persona that's on my kindle. Loved, loved Song of Achilles.

I've a few too many on the go but may bump that up the list.

I liked all the shopaholic books when up with babies, frothy and easy to read

PersonaNonGarter · 06/01/2019 14:25

Song of Achilles was wonderful but I think Circe is even better.
